Overview

Startup Ecosystem Tokyo Consortium aims to strengthen international competitiveness, create and grow startups, and ultimately realize sustainable development of Tokyo's economy by establishing Tokyo as a global hub city for startup ecosystems. We aim to. We also aim to implement innovations from the startup ecosystem into society and promote activities that give back to the local community.

This time, we will be holding a mindset event aimed at creating unicorn-class companies, aimed at middle-to-late stage startups and startups aiming for that stage, where they can deepen their understanding of the capital policies necessary to materialize their business plans.

Even if you are not a member of the Tokyo Consortium, you can participate as long as you agree with the purpose of the Tokyo Consortium and become a member, so if you are interested, please feel free to join us.

  • Mr. Masayuki Tadokoro

    Mr. Masayuki Tadokoro
    A serial entrepreneur who has started four companies in Japan and one in Silicon Valley.
    He is the author of ``Startup Science'', ``Why Do Your New Businesses Fail? The Science of Corporate Innovation'', and ``Entrepreneurship Encyclopedia'', which have been the top selling business books on Amazon for 2017 consecutive weeks since their release in 115.
    From 2014 to 2017, he made global investments as a VC partner in Silicon Valley.

    Currently, he is the CEO of Unicorn Farm, which supports startup management and innovation of large companies, and an outside director of Blue Marlin Partners.
