Overview

Startup Ecosystem Tokyo Consortium aims to strengthen international competitiveness, create and grow startups, and ultimately realize sustainable development of Tokyo's economy by establishing Tokyo as a global hub city for startup ecosystems. We aim to. We also aim to implement innovations from the startup ecosystem into society and promote activities that give back to the local community.

At Tokyo Consortium, we will work towards forming a startup ecosystem in collaboration with wide-area partner local governments in the Tokyo area.

At this event, wide-area partner local governments will introduce their respective priority startup support measures, and a pitch event will be held by startups recommended by each local government. We hope that this event will serve as an opportunity to share information on the efforts of regionally collaborating local governments and create matching opportunities for collaboration among members.

Even if you are not a member of the Tokyo Consortium, you can participate as long as you agree with the purpose of the Tokyo Consortium and become a member, so if you are interested, please feel free to join us.

Accidents due to aging infrastructure such as the Sasago tunnel collapse will never occur again.

In the wake of the Sasago Tunnel accident, the worst in expressway history, the aging of Japan's infrastructure became noticeable, and the development of inspection robots for maintenance management became a national project. The RIKEN team was entrusted with the development of a non-contact infrastructure aging inspection device using a laser, and the resulting "tunnel lining surface image measurement vehicle" and "laser hammering sound inspection device" were manufactured and sold, as well as measurement data sales. Our company was established for this purpose. This comprehensive tunnel inspection system is the only one in the world.

Connecting limited rare metal resources to the future

The idea is to utilize "Emulsion Flow," an innovative solvent extraction technology developed by the Japan Atomic Energy Agency, in urban mines to extract rare metals such as cobalt, nickel, and lithium from discarded lithium-ion batteries at low cost. We aim to realize "horizontal recycling" by establishing a technology to recover high-purity metals with low environmental impact and directly reusing the recovered rare metals in high-tech industries.

We want to realize a society where people can continue walking throughout their lives and extend the healthy lifespan of the people.

Walking is related to a healthy life expectancy. Hip replacement surgery is an excellent surgery that allows people who have once been unable to walk to walk again. The portable operating table ``Lucure'' supports surgeries that do not involve cutting muscles, and enables rapid recovery of muscle strength after surgery. The 100% domestic artificial hip joint ``Milfie'' is a gentle artificial joint that fits the skeleton of petite Japanese women. We rely on imported products for artificial joints, but we want to ensure a stable supply of medical equipment that is directly linked to the health of the people.
